Ewen is really not heavy enough to require this level of load-sharing.

One of the days we were in Chilliwack, we decided to go over to the Fraser River to see what the fishing activity was like. This was in the middle of a particularly flush salmon run.




While we were at the landing, an RCMP boat was brought out to go in the water. There was only one officer, though. He spent quite a bit of time getting the boat ready, but we left before anyone else came along to help him get it launched.




There were even better stone-gathering opportunities on the Fraser shore.




When we got Morgan back in the car, we discovered she had decided to keep some momentoes from the river.
