After firing up the engine we taxied out to a run-up area to check the engine. I think that's the blur of the propeller on the right side of the picture.




We had to taxi into the sun in order to get to the end of the runway, made worse by the presence of some pedestrians right next to the taxiway.




Before takeoff, a quick look at the maps. My lap had a pivotal role to play.
