I actually had a lot of trouble taking pictures at the reception, thanks in part to sticking with my pocket-sized P&S camera and partly due to the fact that they kept the lights ridiculously low in the reception hall.




So on we go to the next morning, our last day in Halifax, where we spotted this sign on the way out of town. I love their sense of timelessness! Now or later, it means nothing to us.




We took a more circuitous (er, I mean, scenic) route to Peggy's Cove this time, and got to see some more fog and some moody vegetation along the way.




I can't decide if I like the colour or B/W shots better.
