This was an awkward photo to take, so I wasn't able to get a good exposure. Basically I'm trying to show you that the guy on the far window had a GPS unit on the window sill, and a lap full of charts. As we went along, he timed everything with a stopwatch




Getting off the train in Brussels, I must have done something to my hand. Because when I looked down, there was blood all over my hand. I wiped up the mess and took a picture. Isn't that what you would do?




John King, also attending the conference on behalf of the Globe, actually caught up with me at Waterloo. But here he's leading the way to the next train in Liege. (It turned out to be in the opposite direction, but we won't hold that against him, right?)
