Naturally this caught my eye -- there is a modern wall under the missing bricks and it certainly achieved its obvious architectural intent to get your attention.




I have no idea who these people are, but they seemed to be on some kind of tour centring on the old walls. Maastricht was originally settled by the Romans, so I'm assuming the wall is pretty old.




Unlike a lot of Dutch residents, this goose did not speak English. He was quite rude about it too.
