Emma stayed on the deck while I took Morgan in for a swim. She'd been doing some swim sessions at our local city pool so this was familiar fun for her.
An arty swim photo.
After that, we got Morgan changed and our stuff packed up for the drive back to Toronto.
As we drove out of the downtown core I couldn't help but snap a pic of these big baby buses, kind of like the ones I'd seen in Nashville almost a year before. Something about them strikes me as funny.
We also came across a row of St-Hubert delivery cars, which really stood out all the more in the late-winter grey canvas.
I took this photo to remind me to rant about not being able to make right turns on red lights in downtown Montreal. People have talked about applying this in Toronto, too, mostly in the wake of a rash of pedestrian fatalities this winter. But I cannot stress enough just how infuriating it is to sit at a red light with little or no cross traffic having to wait for a green light to turn right, especially when you are, like I was, trying to loop back around a series of one-way streets to get back to the gas station I had just missed. So annoying! I was seeing red all right.
