In the bar, Kirsty kept buying bottles of champagne. Here I think Teresa is admonishing Kirsty for putting yet another bottle on the tab. (The rest of us became less resistant with each bottle.)




Say cheese!




Just looking at this picture makes me start coughing. It was 'seasoned' with cayenne pepper, which basically makes this pepper-spray popcorn. It tasted great but we couldn't stop coughing!




A nice group shot - I gather they were laughing at some off-colour remarks that came up while I was in the washroom. At least, that's what they said...




Eventually we moved on to the restaurant for dinner. I think it was on the way there that we spotted a man riding a Segway down the sidewalk. I wasn't able to get a picture, but I can tell you it was curious to see in person: it seems so unnatural. I also didn't expect to see someone riding it down snowy sidewalks. Anyway, by the time we got to Vong, on East 54th Street, I was quite hungry and really enjoyed this beef dish.




Eugene, another friend of Teresa's joined us at the restaurant in order to help make fun of Kirsty and Sean. Emma and I were pretty zonked by the time dinner was done, though, so while the rest of them headed off to another bar, we headed back to the hotel. And that was it for Saturday.
