Christina goes undercover as Tom monitors the Review pages arriving.




From the computer the pages are turned into film, and from film into printing plates. Eventually the intermediate step will be removed and plates will be made directly from the computer files. This is a Review page if I recall correctly. The plate will be developed in the next step.




The other Christina pays close attention as Tom goes over the webbing diagram for one of the business sections. How they arrange the various pages and threading the paper through the press (ie the web of web printing) is fairly intricate and his diagram barely helps since we haven't seen the press yet. The yellow lighting is to help keep the printing plates from exposing too much from ultraviolet light.
