[ Blue Jackets gift store ]

After picking up our tickets for the game, James and I hit the Blue Jackets' gift shop, where James picked out a hat under the watchful eye of the enormous goalie mask.

A Jason Chimera hat for just 3 dollars? You'd be smiling too.

James couldn't wait to show off his hat, not even stopping to take the tags off.


[ Restaurant at Nationwide ]

Before the game we stopped for dinner at one of the restaurants attached to Nationwide, and had a fairly nice meal despite looking like a pair of hockey hosers.

If you look closely, you can see they had one of the TVs over the bar tuned to TSN's coverage of the world women's curling championship game between Switzerland and Japan. They don't even show that stuff in bars in Canada!
