The Predators attacked twice at this end and we got to see plenty of the goals scored in the game right in front of us.




I didn't exactly have a telephoto lens with me for my pocket camera, but if you squint you can make out Gretzky behind the Coyotes bench.




During one of the intermissions I tried out the foam claws.




It's worth mentioning here that while everyone at the game was really into hockey (unlike, say going to a Leafs game where half the people aren't even watching what's happening on the ice), there were subtle signs that the Predators felt they had to explain certain aspects of the game to the fans. It's totally normal for the ushers to stop people from going down the aisles while the game is in play, but the stop signs seemed silly to me.




Mark's seats are right next to the Zamboni ramp, and along with Mark, we were taking in the game with some of his friends. They were kind enough to talk the arena staff into donating us a couple of game and practice pucks for me and James to take as souvenirs.
