This was our first proper look at the Golden Gate Bridge.




Before docking at Alcatraz we did a little circuit around to see the various buildings dotted across the island.




They had an electric cart for anyone with limited mobility, and I couldn't help but notice the sign posted to the back of the cart. I'd really like to know what federal law they're talking about!




This is Ranger Dan, who did the live parts of our tour (most of it is handled with portable audio tour equipment). At one point he openly asked the crowd if it had any questions at all and I was tempted to ask him how he happened to end up with a giant bandaid on the side of his head.
