On the road again. After unloading in Seattle, I hit the highway eastbound for a visit to the outlying areas. I had hoped to do this in clearer weather (hey, it was sunny a minute ago!) but in the end didn't get to see much in the way of mountains. Notice, by the way, the lovely vegetation concealing the ugliness of the overpasses.




What do you know? It's sunny again! I'm sensing a pattern here...




Getting closer to the Cascades, the scenery improves a lot.




My only real destination on this part of the trip was to see Snoqualmie Falls, where they filmed much of Twin Peaks. This was taken in the parking area on the opposite side of the road.
