After we drove back down out of the Beacons, we headed into Cardiff, the capital and largest city in Wales.

Emma lived in Wales for a year back in the late 90s, and worked in this building for the rugby world cup tournament office.

Emma led me on a quick tour around the main business/shopping district downtown, including this exterior glimpse of Cardiff Castle. We didn't go in.

We came across a tiny merry-go-round in a pedestrian street as we stopped in at a variety of shops.


[ Stopping for flowers on our way home ]

We stopped and got some flowers for our gracious hosts, Emma's cousin Lindsey and her partner Julian.
