Ambiwlans?!? Reading Welsh signage led to some amusement at various points on our trip.




Our first stop in Wales was Caerphilly Castle, which I suggest you read all about on Wikipedia because I didn't retain any of the educational information I picked up there.




The moat has a drainhole! Right in the middle!




People were fishing in the moat, which struck me as funny for some reason.




The castle has been under reconstruction for pretty much the last 100 years, though they don't seem to have made much progress on this tower. They let you walk under its shadow while on the grounds, so I guess it's not in any danger of completely collapsing.
