We climbed up a small hill in the hopes of getting a better view of the surrounding scenery. Our already small car was rendered puny by the vantage point.




The Valley of Fire is so named because of the way the sunlight hits the red-coloured rocks, but we had to take their word for it: it was cloudy at dusk.
