The next day I went out for a walk and came across this fine example of pragmatic road-building. The tree's in the way? Go around it!




I see they still sell metal detectors at Radio Shack, but this isn't the kind for finding coins on a beach...




This shot is fairly representative of Chilliwack in a number of ways: fine view of the mountains, strip mall, empty parking lot. Even the pawn shop has closed down for good.
