Our hotel, having no lagoon of its own, let us wander around on the beach and didn't try too hard to stop some people from swimming too, but as you can see the winds were whipping up quite a surf and I'm not sure it was such a good idea.




We got splashed by a few unexpectedly large waves ourselves. Emma had to wring out her jeans a few times.




The sun was starting to set at this point, so we tried doing some pics on the beach. This one didn't work out like I'd hoped, but it was interesting nonetheless.




Everybody say cheese!




One of my favourite 'little details' of the facilities at our hotel was the foot-wash station as you come up from the beach. Worked perfectly!
