The view on the way down is actually pretty impressive.




For the benefit of a tram full of tourists that was just leaving from the lower platform, we feigned some imagined horror. Emma was not impressed.




There is actually a small bridge, suitable for small vehicles or pedestrians, that runs across the bottom of the valley, and Ewen and I decided to check out the view of the river running beneath it.




No horseplay on the bridge!




I was doing my best to blend in with the bridge as Emma posed for a photo that Ewen insisted on taking from a prone position.
