Monday afternoon our guests had to head back to the big city, but we were staying behind to enjoy almost a full week of vacation time.




We passed the time by playing a game of Scrabble in which we used up every tile. And we only had to cheat with one little word to make it happen!




The next day we made a run for supplies into Bancroft, where I scoped out my employment prospects. Apparently I should not be applying as a photographer.




In one of the stores on the "main" (read: only) drag in Bancroft we found a spectacular assortment of really great movies on DVD for $10 or less. Of course, it took us 20 minutes to dig through the crap, but we found several worth buying.
