Once you get to the top of the funicular line, you're supposed to get on a cable car and ride to the top of the hill. But according to our map, and the subway system map, the cable car has been out of service since 2004. When we arrived, it was running but apparently just for testing. There is a bus (or so they claimed) but we decided to walk up.




After going a long way out of our way we finally made it to the top of Montjuic, where there is a castle.

At this point I was just happy we weren't climbing up the hill any more.
