On Christmas itself we weren't going to gather for festivities until a little later in the day so I went out for a walk around where my grandmother lives. This is what passes for a sidewalk in most of Florida.




They have bus stops in Florida - this one is right on an interstate highway even - but I have seen only one person actually waiting at a bus stop and I cannot recall ever seeing a city bus.




Sucks to be the next guy to hit this railing - I'm thinking it may not have quite the structural integrity it's meant to. It was hard to tell how long it had been damaged but it sure didn't look like it was going to be fixed any time soon.




There weren't nearly enough protesters outside this building for them to have seriously meant that they deal in family prevention.


I also took a photo on Christmas day that depicts the rarest of Florida scenes: an empty mall parking lot.
