Which is not to say we couldn't see the ground. There was plenty of that to go around. These are the gravel pits north of Brampton; the picture gives a pretty good idea what it's like to look out the window.

Since it was clearer to the north, we flew up towards Orangeville, pictured here. Orangeville is actually surprisingly big when viewed from the air, unlike most things which were, understandably, quite small. I have driven through the town a number of times and didn't think it was nearly that big.

Continuing with the northern theme, we flew up to Collingwood. This is the airfield there, where we landed and took some pictures.

This is the one I took of him. Then we went inside and discovered that not only could we not get lunch in the Collingwood flying club building, it also wasn't air conditioned. Screw that! We hopped back in and flew back.
So that was flying. I wish I'd taken a picture of Wasaga Beach from the air, since it was quite impressive, but then again I'm glad we didn't stick around on the ground too long since it was damn hot. I had a lot of fun though, and I'd definitely be up for another ride.
