We passed this sign on a piece of equipment on the pier. I took a picture because it, more than most other signs I see, we truly baffling to me. All I know is, anything with 'explosive' in it is probably bad.




As we walked out I noticed the armed guard at the gate - much more intimidating than the Commissionaire who examined our ID on the way in (to be more precise: he verified that we *had* ID, not so much that he examined the ID itself).




After visiting the ship, we drove up the Eastern Passage of Halifax harbour to Fisherman's Cove, which has been done up as a little tourist village, in order to find some lunch and enjoy the un-Halifax-like sunny weather.




My friend Christina gave Morgan some shades, but they're still a little big on her. She appreciated looking just like daddy though.




After lunch we headed over to Bryan's parents place, which backs onto MicMac Lake. Having experienced a boat ride with Bryan on a previous visit, Emma decided she and Morgan would sit this one out. So I alone got to experience the thrill of Bryan's Aquatic Roller Coaster (tm) this time around.
