Back at the hotel for a break after our latest early morning, I took a shot of the beach from our room.

And then we got a shot of Emma dressed up for our nice dinner out in Lahaina.

The sun was setting as we arrived in Lahaina for dinner. The town, now the tourism epicentre of Maui with tons of kitsch shops and hoity restaurants, used to be a major trade centre for the islands.

Emma seemed happy to be there.

We didn't have a reservation so we didn't get to sit outside, but the restaurant was still quite nice and the food was good.
