As we passed back into the town of Kona, we saw some people playing on the sand volleyball court in the middle of the tourist strip. Somewhat odd, yet still wholesome!




The next day, our last in Hawaii, we decided to use the (outdooor!) internet kiosk at the hotel to check up on our email etc. (With an emphasis on etc.)




It doesn't seem to matter where I go: apostrophe abuse is rampant.




This sign, seen on the road out of Kona heading to the airport, imparts some of the message of just how little urbanization there is on most of the Hawaiian islands.
