[ Lining up in Milan ]

This is how you wait for a flight at Malpensa Airport if you have to take a bus out to the ramp where your plane is parked. Insanity.

[ Blurry airplane shot ]

By this point I was well and truly not well, and this photo probably could have turned out better if I hadn't been in a rush to get on the bus that would take us all of 15 yards to the terminal at Bologna. But I thought it was fun to go out the back door of a plane for once.

[ Exit at Bologna ]

Be careful to choose the right door depending on your circumstance! Oh, wait. Nevermind... Cat and Evan were waiting on the other side, having been alerted to my new arrival time by my mother thanks to an expensive credit-card funded long-distance call. Jean Todt's chauffeur and we could have waited around to see the Ferrari F1 boss, but I was absolutely out of it and we went straight to Cat and Evan's place.

[ Cat in the apartment ]

I took almost no pictures in Italy, mostly because I was in bed pretty much the whole time. Also, because there was a ton of snow outside and nobody was going anywhere. Cat took some shots that you can look at, though. Cat's best line during my visit was "I was going to make you a mix CD but I decided to wash the floor instead."
