This faucet was in the bathroom at the hotel lobby. Kinda neat controls, I think.




Walking back to Grand Central Station to catch the bus back to LaGuardia, we were passed by a stream of at least 20 police cars with lights and sirens blaring, fighting their way through the downtown traffic. We have no idea where they were going or why they all seemed to be coming from the same place.




Apparently they don't want you mailing things from the airport any more.




This man was actually standing behind us in the check-in line, and at one point started to try and engage us in a conversation about how ridiculously long it was taking for the one woman at the counter to handle all the people checking in for the flight. This kind of fell on deaf ears because we were in fact just three spots from the front of the line at that point, and there wasn't much of a line to speak of anyway. We noticed here on the plane that the man was reading a book with a title along the lines of Smile Every Day. He needed it.
