The sun was close to setting by the time we taxied out in the plane for the return trip to Toronto.




Just off the wing as we lined up on the runway was a prison-looking building that is in fact Rikers Island, which I know only from Law & Order.




After takeoff we got a better view of LaGuardia and Rikers Island.

The sky was quite impressive on approach back into the Toronto area, so I thought I'd take a final shot.
