[ Frank mauled by polar bear ]

During a brief interlude before sitting down to a nice panoramic tourism video in the museum theatre, several people took turns having their picture taken with the stuffed polar bear.


[ Still light at dinner ]

Due to the extended daylight it was still very bright out when we sat down to dinner, which included reindeer as a main course.

Everyone back home keeps asking me if it was gamy. Answer: no.

In fact, it was still light out even after dinner. The deck of the museum looks back towards downtown across the water.


[ The dungeon ]

Back at the conference the next day, I found one of the mini-session rooms was called the dungeon, and included stone walls, iron bars and a non-functioning video projector. Oooh. Scary.

It also had stocks.
