The main room for the large group sessions didn't have the most comfortable chairs, but most of the conference is broken up into smaller sessions, held in different rooms throughout the building.

I can tell you the Globe building does not have a room like this.


[ Talking in the lobby ]

At the end of the first full day of the conference, we all gathered back at our hotel to get on buses for the annual ritzy dinner, paid for by CCI. Here, two of the CCI executives talk with some of the conference delegates in the lobby. (Notice that it is not as nice as Cal's hotel lobby.)

There was a lot of milling around before people actually got on the buses, which took us back to the Viking ship museum.


[ Tour guide ]

We had a number of tour guides assigned to us, and although we were seeing the same ships again from the day before, I think I picked up a few new details. One of the newspaper delegates was obviously not listening. How dare he take pictures while she was talking!

From there we got back on the buses and headed to the site of our dinner, the still humorously named Sjofartsmuseum.
