Another little quirk that I noticed is that all the traffic lights had double red pedestrian signals. Stop! Both of you!

Oslo is a very transit-friendly city, with lots of streetcar lines running all over the place, plus bus lines galore. If I had waited another few seconds you could have seen how this streetcar was wrapped in a Star Wars advert.

While I was wandering around looking for a place to buy a postcard to send back to Emma, I noticed that a new cruise ship had arrived in the harbour. It turns out that Oslo is actually crawling with cruise ships (and a lot of other ships too), with this one tied up next to the Akershus Castle.

After finding a postcard I met up with the guys back at Cal's hotel, which had a particularly nice lobby.

Our plan for the day was to go by short boat ride across to a peninsula where most of Oslo's museums are located.
