I am openly mocked for concluding in Italy that I was sick of seeing so many old churches. In Oslo, I was sick of seeing old storehouses.




Cal helped himself to a turn on some stilts he found stacked against one of the buildings at the museum. The Norwegians were too polite or afraid to stop him.




The next stop on our tour was the Viking ship museum, where they have the (mostly) restored remains of three old Viking ships.




One of the ships is in pretty terrible condition.




But two of them are really impressive.
