We staked out a spot on a hill overlooking the active airfield (the single runway used by the Rockliffe Flying Club now the only remaining part of CFB Rockliffe's aviation history). With Cat around, I need to keep a watch over my shoulder.




The opening act of the "military air demonstration" that we had come to see was the SkyHawks parachute team. (Their web site looks like it was done by the producers of CBC's Ice, not to their credit.) Notice how nice and blue-skyish the sky had become. That was going to result in a fair amount of pink skin later...
