One of the main attractions for the kiddies was a cockpit section from a Tutor jet, quite likely a real cannibalized airframe, given the state of the military. Once they had their picture taken, they were given a safety whistle. What a terrific plan! Hundreds of children spent the rest of the afternoon blasting their whistles at the slightest whim.




Fire trucks are cool.




They even trucked in the Stadacona Band from Halifax. I remember they were the band for King's formal dance in my last year there.
