Given the tone of the demonstration, we felt it best to keep our comments to ourselves - no doubt we would have been branded pinko commie Canadians for suggesting maybe the bailout would keep some of them employed.

The organizers were selling bumper stickers that said "Honk if you're paying my mortgage" -- which really confused me. If your mortgage is being paid out from the bailout, isn't that good for you? Why would you protest against that?
