My first impression of the hotel, formed as always by the lobby, was pretty good. They have a nightly 'wine with the manager' function here, although I was never around for it.




The hotel room itself was reasonably nice, although the free upgrade to the King-size bed was of dubious value since the room was mostly taken up by the bed. I'm not sure I liked the yellow-and-white striping on the wallpaper either.




The bathroom was reasonable (and all in one room! -- see Maastricht for alternatives) and very clean. So far so good.




Here's the view out the window. It was at this point that I noticed the bus route running down Farrell St., outside my window.




There was a nice TV with a DVD player in the room, which is new for me. Not that I brought any DVDs with me. They didn't even bolt the remote to the bedside table. Classy!
