Don Rickles doesn't sit well with Mike. This was the next morning, on our way to picking up a rental car at the Mirage. From there we headed east towards the Hoover Dam.




A side road through Boulder City offers a nice view of Lake Mead, and Mike. Twice. Lake Mead was created on the advent of the Hoover Dam, for the express purpose of propping up Nevada's ailing party-boat industry.




Desi Arnaz Jr has an important safety message. I don't know what they're worried about: It was only 106 F at that point...




I decided to tempt the fates by mocking our tiny rental car. But in fact it served us well.
