The next day (Christmas Eve) we went out for some last-minute shopping, including a stop at a nursery. They had a big sign up next to Christmas trees for 'snow flocking,' which I'd never heard of.




These trees have been flocked.




Flock? It's seems to be a spray-on substance similar in texture to styrofoam. Why you'd want a tree in your living room to look like it has snow on it is beyond me...
