We'd only been there a couple of days and already I'd had my fill of Canadian banks. This one had a cash machine, but it only gave out Bahamian dollars. They are on par with U.S. dollars but honestly - what are you going to do with a Bahamian dollar when a U.S. dollar will suffice?




On the boat over to Nassau, a guy who apparently didn't work for the boat company did a nice job of being a tour guide, pointing out who owns which mansion etc along the coast of Paradise Island. In this case, it was apparently Nicholas Cage's yacht.




Nassau is a frequent port of call for Caribbean cruises and there was always at least one ship in town every day that we were there.




Sadly, they were not very friendly.
